Getting to know Kevin Boss
With questions and interview by Sarah Buddingh, Madison Caples, and Mr. Holroyd
Sarah: What is your favorite candy? Kevin: Reeces Pieces
Madison: What is your all time favorite kids show? Kevin: That’s a good question. The one with Urkel, Family Matters.
Sarah: Who was your favorite teacher when you were a kid? Kevin: That’s
hard, I had a lot of great teachers. Mrs. Tubbs, I had her for third
and fourth grade.
Madison: What are your three favorite colors? Kevin: Blue (for the
Giants), red (for Western Oregon), and gold (for the Warriors).
Sarah: How bad does the Giants locker room stink? Kevin: Not too bad.
They are pretty good about cleaning it up and keeping it sanitary. It
smells much better than the locker rooms in college and high school.
Madison: Is it scary after the ball has been hiked? Kevin: As a rookie,
the first couple of games you are intimidated, but after a couple of
games you get the hang of it.
Sarah: What was your favorite subject in school? Kevin: Writing.
Madison: If you were to play another position, what would it be? Sarah:
Other than Tight end. Kevin: Very good. I would like a few snaps at
quarterback that would be fun. Not too many though.
Sarah: Who is your favorite professional athlete? Kevin: My brother.
Madison: Which NFL team was your favorite growing up? Kevin: Unfortunately it was the Detroit Lions.
Sarah: If you were a character from Scooby Doo, who would you be and why? Kevin: Scooby Doo, because he makes everyone laugh.
Madison: Who is your favorite team to play against? Kevin: The Packers, and beating Mr. Rath’s Packer was fun.
Sarah: Do you have any pets? Kevin: Not in New York, but my parents
have some cats from when I lived at home. My favorite cat is named Abo.
Madison: What is your favorite sport to play other than football? Kevin: Definitely basketball. I miss playing basketball.
Sarah: If you had a different career, what would it be and why? Kevin:
I’d like to be a strength coach for a college team. I am into sports
and nutrition.
Sarah: Do you have any close friends on the team you spend time with
outside of football? Kevin: I just went to the Kentucky Derby with Eli
Manning and the offensive line. I want to go back! Those guys are
probably my closest friends.
Madison: What is your favorite restaurant? Kevin: On the Border (a Mexican restaurant) in New York.
Sarah: What is your favorite thing about Philomath? Kevin: Being a
small town. I enjoyed growing up in a small town and enjoy coming home.
Madison: How have your birthday parties changed since you were a kid? Kevin: I get less presents now.
Sarah: Okay, how about some word association. (Sarah gives Kevin a word and he says the first thing that pops into his head).

think Bree? (Kevin asks his fiancée) Bree: Tall, caring, and athletic.

called and who would star in it? Kevin: “Determined,” starring Will
Smith.
