Hello everyone!

Sorry it has been so long since my last update! I have a lot to catch you all up on! I will start with my offseason. My offseason was highlighted by getting married to my college sweetheart back home in Oregon. We had an incredible day surrounded by over 300 of our closest friends and family members. We were also very honored to have some of my teammates and their wives attend the wedding as well. Dave Tollefson, Mike Matthews, Shaun O' Hara, Grey Ruegamer, Adam Koets, and also my tight ends coach Mike Pope were all kind enough to make the trip out to attend the wedding.

Our team Chaplin George McGovern performed the ceremony and did an outstanding job. It really meant a lot to us that they all traveled so far to be there and share that special day with us.

After the wedding we went on what we called a "mini honeymoon" to the Oregon Coast for 3 nights. My wife knows how intense I am about training during the offseason so that is why we did the "mini honeymoon" (she even let me workout during the mini honeymoon) We decided we are saving the real honeymoon for after the season when we can relax as superbowl champs once again!!!

I can't tell you how excited I am for this season. I think we have a very talented and hungry team that has a lot to prove! Last season we didn't finish like we knew we were capable of and this year we are determined not to let that happen again. We are currently on our way to New England for our final preseason game. Camp has gone by real fast this year and we are all excited to get the regular season underway.
